Don’t Bite the Director by T. M. Kirk is a smart, sweet, and sexy rom-com about an indie film director, Cora, and a centuries-old vampire, Saiden. Tropes included: Forced proximity, fated mates, one bed, and touch her and die.

There were several points in the book where I closed the app and squealed in delight! This book is so cute! Cora Lee is directing a horror movie about killer vampires while her clock is ticking. No, I don’t mean babies; I mean she’s dying, and she wants to get her life’s work completed before she does.

The problem? She stumbled across several actual closely guarded vampire secrets. Saiden, the vampire enforcer, has come to tear up her script and erase her mind. When he meets her and finds out that he cannot erase her mind, he agrees to take her to his vamp compound to plead her case.
